3 Natural Remedies For Blackheads You Can Use At Home

Blackheads are the most stubborn form of pimples . It seems like no matter how much you try to get rid of them, they come back sooner than later and stronger than before. Soap, face washes, creams, masks I tried it all and none worked.

I was really upset since my nose was in a pretty poor condition, and I was desperate.

However, I was not so eager to spend a lot of money on dermatological and SPA treatments, so my last option was to Google some home remedies and give it a try.

All-Natural Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Blackheads

Alcohol consumption affects your body in different ways, but I will talk about the most common ones here.

1. Egg white and honey

Egg white and honey

This combo makes a perfect mask for getting rid of blackheads from your nose. You can apply this mask all over your face if needed. The sticky texture of egg white easily sits on your nose and face, and you should leave it on until you feel that your skin becomes tight. Egg white will also shrink the pores and prevent blackhead formation at bay.

The honey is also beneficial in a face mask since it is well known that honey has antibacterial benefits. Honey will soothe, soften, and moisturize your skin, leaving your face with a natural and healthy glow. Make sure you always wash off this mask well since the smell of the egg whites tends to linger on the skin.

How to prepare and apply

  • The first step is to whisk the egg whites thoroughly.
  • After that, add one tablespoon of honey and mix it until it combines well.
  • Use a brush (never fingers!) to apply the mask on to the affected area.
  • Wait approximately 15 to 20 minutes for the mask to dry off.
  • Rinse your face with warm water.

2. Sugar scrub

Sugar scrub

This is the simplest face scrub ever. In my case, this scrub worked perfectly for exfoliating my skin, not only on my nose and face. I even used it on my body . Anyhow, sugar helps to cut down the dead skin cell production and prevents the formation of blackheads. But you need to use something liquidy to make the scrub. You can opt between honey or even jojoba oil.

If you have oily skin, I recommend you mix sugar with honey and avoid oil. Honey will remove dirt since it has antibacterial properties and moisturizes your skin. Use jojoba oil if you have dry skin. Use the scrub at least twice a week for the best results.

How to prepare and apply

  • Add one tablespoon of sugar.
  • Depending on your skin type, add a tablespoon of honey or tablespoon of jojoba oil.
  • Mix it well until it becomes an evenly thick mixture.
  • Apply the scrub on your face in a circular motion, making sure you massage the face for a bit before rinsing it off with warm water.
  • Apply the moisturizing cream after.

3. Oatmeal scrub

Oatmeal scrub

Oatmeal will do magic for your complexion; believe me inside and out! You will only need three ingredients for this scrub. Those are oatmeal, plain yogurt, and lemon juice.

The oatmeal will help soothe your skin, lemon will help to de-clog the pores and exfoliates the skin, and yogurt will moisturize your skin. Your face will have a natural glow after using this powerful combination on your skin.

Use this scrub regularly once a week, and I promise you will see the difference after several weeks.

How to prepare and apply

  • Put two tablespoons of oatmeal, three tablespoons of plain yogurt and a half lemon juice in a deeper dish.
  • Mix it well until it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Apply this mixture on your nose or any other affected area and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  • Wash it off with warm water.

You can also make the oatmeal scrub with honey and tomatoes. To make this mask, mix oatmeal with one teaspoon of honey and the juice of four tomatoes. Apply it on your face and wash off after 10 minutes.
